Service & Eagle Projects

Troop 75 participates in many community service projects throughout the year. Our Eagle Scouts also head up an community service project to earn their rank.

 Community Service Projects

Troop 75 has a long history of helping our community. Troop 75’s annual Easter Egg Hunt has been a part of Bellbrook for over 40 years. Our scouts are responsible for planning of the event which draws hundreds.

The annual Memorial Day observance has been a long standing tradition with our troop. Each year troop 75 in conjunction with our local veterans organizations honor our veterans by marking the gravesite of veterans in our local cemeteries, and participating in ceremonies to honor those heroes.

Each year, our troop collects thousands of food items that are donated to local food pantries. We have also assisted in blood drives, road clean-up details, and park projects.
 Eagle Scout Projects

The journey to Eagle is long. One of the steps includes the scout planning and carrying out a extensive community service type project where he can develope and demonstrate his leadership skills.

Here are some of the projects that have benifited our community:

  • Marking storm drains for EPA polution control
  • GPS marking fire hydrants
  • Rescue dog training course
  • Many projects in our local parks including mulching, land scaping, painting, and several construction projects.

The list goes on and on, and that's just troop 75. Scouts around the world contribute an amazing amount of community service.
