Troop 75 goes camping several times a year. Our camps and locations can vary but some camps are cornerstones of our program.
Camp Hugh Taylor Birch

Camp Birch is our council camp located in Yellow Springs, Ohio. This is where our 1st year scouts learn what summer camp is all about. We also utilize Camp Birch for several events throughout the year including the famous Klondike Derby in January.
Camp Oyo

Camp Oyo is located in Friendship, Ohio, which is in the foothills of the Applichian Mountain range. We have a weekend campout here every February. We stay in 1930s era rustic log cabins with a big fireplace. Come smell the pine and join us on our big hike.

 Other Camps

We also use Camp Chief Logan Reservation located near Chillicothe, Ohio. We have also camped in Ohio State Parks and on land in Ky. during our yearly cave trip.

An annual favorite is our November fishing trip to Kelly's Island Camp Patmos.

HIGH ADVENTURE

Troop 75 generally offers scouts a high adventure on a yearly basis. Past adventures include:

Camp Haliburton is located 150 miles north of Toronto, Canada. Imagine a wooded 5000 acre with 10 sparkling lakes and the smell of fresh pine. Travel from island to island by canoe and test your skills on Survival Island.

Philmont Scout Ranch is Boy Scouts of America's premier high-adventure base is located in Cimarron, New Mexico. This high-adventure base challenges Scouts with more than 200 square miles of rugged New Mexico wilderness. Backpacking treks, horseback cavalcades, and training and service programs offer young people many ways to experience this legendary country.

Other high adventures include Northern Tier, Florida Sea Base, Boundary Waters Canoe Area, Sea Kayaking at Pamlico Sea Base, and Alaskan trips. The possibilities are endless and you make the choices where you want to go.
